EPA Lead Safe

Contractors play a critical role in helping to prevent lead exposure. Ordinary renovation and maintenance activities (such as sanding, cutting, replacing windows, and more) can create hazardous lead dust and chips which can be harmful to adults & children. Home Renovation, Repair & Painting (RRP) projects that create even a small amount of lead dust are enough to poison your child and put your family at risk. By following lead-safe work practices, lead hazards can be prevented. As a Certified Lead-Safe Contractor, we have been trained on a group of techniques to prevent lead exposure during RRP projects. Given homes built before 1978 are more likely to have lead-based paint, the EPA recommends homeowners hire a lead-safe contractor.
